- A Word file containing your full name (as written in your passport), email, home address with postal code, and phone number.
Phase 3:
Within 3–5 working days, we will email you:
- Your Irish address and postal code.
- An eSIM.
- Our team will collect and forward your mail to your home address.
Phase 4:
We will assist you in opening a bank account.
Please download the bank statement when available.
Phase 5:
We will provide you with an RSA (Road Safety Authority) document to complete.
Phase 6:
We will help you open a gov.ie account.
You will then send these documents as PDFs to Welfare.ie:
- Passport
- Bank statement
- RSA document
Phase 7:
Wait for an invitation email from the Department of Social Protection with your appointment date and time.
Phase 8:
When you are in Ireland, bring all documents used in your application.
At the office, fill in the REG 1 form and receive an envelope containing your PPS number.
Phase 9:
Wait for an email from the Department of Social Protection to activate your Revenue account.
Phase 10:
Your PPSN card will be posted to your Irish address in 15–20 days.
